Hi, I’m Tyler. I’m a husband, dad, and L.A. native with a senior beagle named Peanut who enjoys waking me up for a light snack everyday at 4:30am.

I work in creative media, which means I need to be up to date on the latest trends in TV, film, and social media. However, given the choice, I’d rather be rewatching Die Hard, or passionately explaining why Aliens is the greatest movie ever made. I have a deep love for 80s and 90s action, sci-fi, horror, and comedy films. If it features practical effects and a synth heavy score, I’m all in.

Outside of the edit bay, I’m an aviation enthusiast who can’t resist looking up whenever a plane flies overhead. In 2017, I turned that fascination into a hobby by earning my pilot’s license. Before parenthood, my wife and I would take spontaneous flights around Southern California to catch a sunset or see the numerous landmarks Los Angeles has to offer. These days though, our adventures involve a car seat, a diaper bag, and an iced coffee.

Life looks a little different now, but it’s full of stories worth telling and that’s still my favorite part.
